Caring Community

The UUG Caring Committee exists to promote and enhance a family-like atmosphere within the framework of the UUG community. Has any member of our UUG community become ill, disabled and/or homebound lost a job or a family member? On the flip side, are any of our members celebrating an important milestone? A birthday, anniversary, graduation, marriage, or birth of a family member? Does any one of us have a special short-term or even long-term need which the Caring Circle Committee can be of assistance with?

Some of the services we offer include personal phone calls or home visits for the ill and/or homebound, personal hospital visits, rides to medical appointments or UUG services and events, general moral support and a listening ear during stressful times, birthday cards, anniversary cards, condolence cards, and more.
